Leading UK construction and regeneration company, Morgan Sindall Group plc, is celebrating after its divisions won a total of 56 Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards this year, including 17 gold, 22 silver and 17 bronze awards. This is the largest number won by a single organisation in 2017.

Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure won 40 awards in total, with fit-out specialist Overbury achieving 10 and affordable housing provider Lovell six.

In addition to the site awards, Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure was also delighted to win the Most Considerate Site (£5m to £10m) award for the Eastern Balancing Reservoir project at Heathrow Airport, as well as achieving Runner-Up for Most Considerate Site for another three projects. The team at Overbury was also proud to win the Most Considerate Site (£500k to <£1m) award for refurbishing Lovell’s office space in Norwich.

The BBMV joint venture between Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Balfour Beatty and VINCI Construction Grands Projets working on Crossrail projects, achieved one gold and one silver award and Overbury’s Project Roman was named an Ultra Site, representing the pinnacle of achievement within the scheme.

CCS National Site Awards are given to the highest performing construction sites across the country, which have demonstrated exceptional levels of consideration in securing everyone’s safety; respect for the community; caring for the workforce; enhancing site appearance; and protecting the environment.
