Morgan Sindall appointed to key Midlands infrastructure framework

Morgan Sindall has been appointed to the Midlands Highway Alliance Medium Schemes Framework 3 (MSF3) which is set to account for as much as £500 million of infrastructure developments in the Midlands over the next four years.

Leicestershire County Council is the procuring authority for the Midlands Highway Alliance MSF3 acting on behalf of the Midlands Highway Alliance (MHA) - an alliance of 21 local authority members based in and around the Midlands.

The scope of the MSF3 is for the execution of highway, civil and municipal engineering works. Typical schemes may involve, but not exclusively be, highway improvements, highway maintenance, highway infrastructure works (including bridges, subways, culverts and retaining walls), public realm works (town centre enhancements), drainage improvements, canal works and other infrastructure works.

Paul Gott, Morgan Sindall’s managing director of Highways, said: “We’re delighted to achieve a place on such an important framework. The MHA MSF3 expands our portfolio of local authority frameworks - we now have the opportunity to work collaboratively with over 60 local authorities, on circa £1.7 billion of infrastructure and highways projects across the UK.”

On MSF3, we’ll bring our existing experience to bear in order to keep vital infrastructure services up-to-date for the benefit of the local communities.”
