'I feel valued as a graduate.'

Lucy Manners, Graduate Site Engineer

The variety of placements that Morgan Sindall offers meant that I was able to experience a number of different sectors, developing a range of transferrable skills each summer.

The graduate scheme is particularly well structured, with modules to develop both professional and technical skills. I feel valued as a graduate and look forward to furthering my career with Morgan Sindall in the future.

Alex Hall

'The people I work with are knowledgeable and very friendly.'

Alex Hall, Graduate Planner

I studied business management and economics at university. After I graduated I wasn’t sure in which direction I wanted to take my career, but the job centre put me in touch with the head of design management here. I completed a couple of temporary placements and clearly made my mark as I was asked to stay on permanently.

I’m not from a construction background but my line manager and colleagues in the site team have all been really supportive, sharing their knowledge to bring me up to speed. The people I work with are knowledgeable, very friendly and hugely motivated.

Placements
We offer three and twelve month placements at our projects across the UK. These are advertised on our job board usually from September-January.

During your time with us you’ll do real work, learning from an experienced mentor on a structured programme of development. Our programmes are regularly updated based on feedback we get from the people who take part – which means they’re tailored to make sure you get the maximum value.

Sponsorship
We currently partner with Loughborough University and the ICE QUEST scheme to offer sponsorship from your first year of studies. If you’ve completed a placement, you can apply for sponsorship at the end.

Top-up
As a growing business, we normally have opportunities outside of those reserved for our sponsored students in a variety of routes. Specific routes are advertised on our job board from October – November but you can express an interest in our Graduate programme year round.
