Providing a skilled and educated workforce to meet modern employment needs
Helping to increase standards in post-16 vocational attainment through 21st century college provision
- Delivering a rich mix of academic and vocational education facilities to support basic training to Higher National Diploma or Foundation Degree level
- Understanding the requirement for learning environments to be integrated with modern and industry-relevant Furniture, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E) and Information Communication Technology (ICT)
- Meeting local needs in the most cost-effective way, to benefit every sector of the economy
At Morgan Sindall we recognise that creating a more educated and flexible workforce depends on a skills system focused on the needs of local employers.
These skills can only be provided if colleges are vibrant and operate with suitable and appropriate buildings and facilities, fitted with modern equipment and machinery used in workplaces across the country. As a company at the forefront of Further Education provision, we provide customers with a valuable mix of academic, occupational, and vocational Further Education colleges.
Our further education projects include the £18.5 million, new build Lowestoft Sixth Form College for Suffolk County Council, and a £4 million workshop refurbishment for Bedford College, which includes integration of sustainable technologies including rainwater harvesting, a wind turbine and solar panels.
