'As a working mum I feel supported to develop my career.'

Elizabeth Halliday, Building Services Manager

I have a varied role working on bids and guiding our design teams to the best solutions for our customers and Morgan Sindall Construction. I feel that I am a valued member of the team, and can influence our design teams enabling us to provide our customers with the best facilities possible. It’s a great feeling to be able to make a difference to people’s lives, and the environment..

As a working mum, I feel supported to develop my career while enjoying spending time with my young family.

'Every day you learn something new.'

Halim Halim, Assistant Accountant

As soon as I was interviewed I felt Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure was the right place to further my career, due to the opportunity for progression - which is massive - throughout the business. Every day you learn something new, which is the best part of the job.

What I like about working for Morgan Sindall is that people are prepared to help and are approachable, and there is a relaxed working environment.

'I've been able to make this role my own.'

Marina Dodd, Quality and Handover Integrator

Having spent seven years in the beauty and cosmetics industry, at 25 I changed career and got my first job at Heathrow Airport as a temporary administrator. After my contract finished I moved to another company within the airport, gaining experience as a document controller. Through contacts I was then made aware of this role within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure's Aviation business - I knew a few people working for the company and had heard great recommendations through ex-employees.

Having brilliant mentors and previous knowledge from document control, I’ve been able to make this role my own, and enjoy handing over projects successfully to Heathrow. I think the support is great here. If there’s ever a problem, everybody is willing to help and resolve any issues we have. I love how they are all about progression and getting their staff involved. Seeing how others around me within our company have progressed makes me believe there is opportunity for everybody.

'Building a team and seeing it flourish is an amazing thing.'

James York, Area Director

In my career at Morgan Sindall Construction, I've moved from a specialised role as Pre-Construction Director to starting up a new business unit in Slough which has now grown to cover the Thames Valley.

Building a team and seeing it flourish is an amazing thing. Above all, I enjoy the people part of my job – I love identifying talent, particularly talent no-one else has spotted, and developing it.

Nick Lingard

‘I immediately felt at home with the people, the culture and the support.’

Nick Lingard, Design Manager

I joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure's Highways business in 2014 and immediately felt at home with the people, the culture and the support provided along the way by talented and experienced colleagues. The focus and pace of work is refreshing, but also challenging. The variety of the role makes me keen to get to work and tackle whatever that day will bring.

In my time here I feel I have developed in my experience and expertise immeasurably. This has increased my confidence and capability offered back to the company.
