Proposed Carnbroe Sikeside Primary School Morgan Sindall Construction

North Lanarkshire Council proposes an exciting new community hub which will bring together two independent establishments: Carnbroe Primary School and Sikeside Primary School and Early Years Class.

This fantastic proposal would deliver new facility for the children and communities of Carnbroe and Sikeside in Coatbridge. Exciting learning and teaching spaces, and ancilliary accomodation would be provided, enhancing the offering for both pupils and the local communities - through a modern, 21st Century community hub.

North Lanarkshire Council intend to submit a planning application for this community hub proposal. The submitted plans will include landscaping, external sports facilities and car parking at a site on Paddock Street, Coatbridge.

This page provides details of the proposals for your review and information.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Scottish Government guidance for major planning applications, this page will host a live, online consultation event in place of the holding of public exhibitions which have been temporarily suspended.

These amenities will be available to the wider community out-with the school day. It is proposed that the campus will be located within the redline boundary illustrated on the above diagram.
