New 1.2 kilometre bridge boost for Kincardine
Morgan VINCI, a joint venture between Morgan Sindall and VINCI Construction Grands Projets, built the Upper Forth Crossing at Kincardine, now officially named as Clackmannanshire Bridge, for Transport Scotland. The project comprised of the design and construction of the multi-span, incrementally launched concrete bridge over the River Forth near the village of Kincardine. Associated works included new approach roads, junctions and crossover bridges which cover a total distance of approximately 6.4 kilometres.
