180,000 vehicles diverted from Dalkeith with much needed bypass

Morgan Sindall was awarded a £30 million contract to build a new bypass at Dalkeith, near Edinburgh, for Transport Scotland. The project involved the design and construction of 3.5 miles of 9.3 metre wide single carriageway road linking the busy A720 Edinburgh City Bypass east of Sheriffhall, with the existing A68 trunk road at Fordel Mains to the south of Dalkeith.
