Air Traffic Control Centre 

In January 2007 Morgan Sindall completed the construction of a new, much-welcomed air traffic control facility in Yeovilton. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art IT systems and radar facilities, as well as a 360 degree viewing tower, offices, training rooms and areas for staff.

 

We built a new centre which was clad in traditional brick and bloc-work masonry with extensive support works for a new glazed control tower.

 

The 360 degree views from the new tower will greatly assist in the planning and monitoring of scheduled military operations—a key function which was unfulfilled by the previous tower.
