Swanley Technical College
We were asked to create a Vocational Skills Centre at Swanley Technical College by converting an existing technology block and infilling a courtyard.
The project involved the partial demolition and refurbishment of existing courtyard buildings to provide much-needed learning environments and provision of three new workshops in a steel portal frame building. A painted fair faced blockwork wall lined the courtyard with a new power floated floor. The refurbishment and new build elements of the project were all run concurrently.
