The client was East Sussex County Council and the work was carried out under the Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) framework which was formerly the South East Centre of Excellence framework.

The new structures are steel frame on concrete slab and footings. There is a polymeric flat roofing system with roof lights and sun-pipes. The external walls predominantly comprise of render and chestnut boarding.

Internal features comprise of plastered, dry-lined walls, grid ceilings and carpet/vinyl floor finishes. Classroom fixed furniture and fittings were also installed.

The external works included the construction of retaining walls to the area of new infill buildings. We also provided a covered ramp walkway, paving, landscaping and a new car park around the front entrance.
