Marks & Spencer, Braehead 

The project consisted of the fit out and refurbishment of the Marks & Spencer unit at Braehead Shopping Centre to enhance the retail environment as well as increase the sales footage of the store by extending it into former backstage areas.

 

The works were undertaken while Marks & Spencer maintained a fully trading store environment. Major structural works were carried out on customer and goods lifts, providing new vertical movement positions in the central atrium of the store rather than in their existing perimeter positions. The lifts extended from the store’s first floor through the ground sales floor into the unused basement of the store.
