Homebase store, Stockport

London & Palatine commissioned Morgan Sindall to design and build a new store and garden centre in Bredbury, Stockport, for sole occupation by retail giant Homebase. The store was built on a site of a disused nightclub and adjoining restaurant.

Following demolition of the existing buildings, Morgan Sindall built a  3,800m2 store including staff amenities/office area, public toilets and a mezzanine floor for displays of kitchen and bathroom equipment. Further construction works included a garden centre, warehouse access and secure storage area.
