AstraZeneca RA Building 

The Research Area Building is a multi-occupancy research and development facility comprising approximately 15,000m² of chemistry, biology and DMPK research laboratories and write-up areas, along with a further 10,000m² of interaction areas, administration accommodation and associated support facilities. 

The building comprises two four-storey laboratory blocks arranged along a central four-storey atrium. The basement storey houses NMR laboratories, physical chemistry laboratories and associates workshops. The ground and first floors of the eastern block house DMPK, a new type of science that looks at the effects of compounds on the metabolism. These laboratories require flexible spaces for robotics and LEV’s.
