AstraZeneca PDF Building
One of Europe’s most technically advanced pharmaceutical development facilities. The £45 million state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing supplies of potential new medicines for world-wide clinical trials and to developing the manufacturing processes required for eventual transfer to large-scale production. The scheme has a gross floor area of 10,200m² of which 2,000m² comprises class 100 and class 10,000 cleanroom areas providing a variety of room sizes, equipment and environments for the products and formulations under development.
What we did
We undertook the design and construction of a guaranteed maximum price contract for AstraZeneca to provide a new Pharmaceutical Development Facility (PDF), on its site in Loughborough.
