 Ashton Primary Care Centre 

The project is one of two schemes in the first of a series of developments planned for the Bury Tameside & Glossop Primary Care Trusts.
 
The facilities provided in the new centre include accommodation for general medical services in two six-GP practices. Facilities included units for podiatry; physiotherapy; orthoptics; audiology; dermatology; and sexual health; facilities for district nurses and health visitors; dental and primary care mental facilities. Other facilities include a crèche and pharmacy.
