Knightwood Nursing Home

We were awarded the contract to build a nursing home development consisting of a 20-bed nursing wing along with close care bungalows and 30 close care apartments. 

 

As part of the development we provided many communal facilities and the local primary care trust will use part of the building as its community base.

 

We used traditional methods to build two, two-storey buildings on a Greenfield site surrounded by woodland. Internally the building is styled to achieve a residential rather than institutional feel. The new centre will cater for people aged over 60. 

 

Support facilities include a restaurant, coffee shop, kitchens, a hairdresser, shop and a fitness centre.
