ICU/HDU Facilities, Addenbrooke's Hospital

We won the contract to build a four-storey extension which would almost double the size of the intensive care and high-dependency units at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. We were also required to refurbish several existing buildings and carry out external works. These highly-sensitive wards remained fully operational throughout construction.

The hospital said this is the most complicated job it has ever carried out. Due to our experience in carrying out complex construction projects, the scheme progressed well. We also kept noise to a minimum to avoid disrupting patients in these highly sensitive wards.
