Underground cable solution to solve disruption problem

The Croydon Cable Tunnel is part of National Grid’s ongoing investment programme to upgrade the national electricity transmission network. Morgan Sindall was chosen to design, build and commission
a 10 kilometre tunnel, which will house a 400 kilovolts cable connecting existing electricity substations at Beddington, near Croydon and Rowdown in the London Borough of Bromley.
