New overhead lines improve reliability of electricity supply

The contract involved the refurbishment and replacement of high and low voltage wooden pole overhead distribution lines covering 7,000 square miles across East Anglia. Morgan Sindall provided all the project management, route evaluation, feasibility, design, access consents, circuit installation, removal and refurbishment and testing and commissioning. This was part one of EDF’s five key work streams designed to meet its regulatory obligations.
