Poundbury Fire Station Headquarters
The work at Poundbury, Dorchester is part of a £58 million PFI scheme to upgrade emergency service facilities in Poole and Dorchester under the Dorset Emergency Services Partnership Initiative (DESPI).
The campus provides two three-bay fire appliance bays, a fire station with training tower, training yard and car parking. Close to the vehicle and pedestrian entrance is the three storey fire services headquarters building all forming into a compound with the buildings themselves forming part of the boundary interface.
We also had the challenge of working to Home Office compliance.
