Lingley Mere Control Centre
Lingley Mere Fire Control Centre has been designed to increase the capability of the Fire and Rescue Service, enabling it to better meet the challenges of today's world.
The project forms part of an integrated and modern network of nine regional control centre's that are equipped to receive calls and mobilize resources from anywhere across the country.
The purpose-built 31,000ft2 regional control centre is fitted with ‘best in class’ technology which provides a modern and efficient communications infrastructure. It has been designed to meet stringent Government security requirements.
A significant challenge for Morgan Sindall was providing the new complex technology service installations which required verification by the end user prior to handover.
