St. John's Traingle Site

The aim of the project was to give the site a new lease of life through improvements to the layout, building fabric, landscape, environment and energy efficiency. This has been achieved by refurbishing, extending and creating new commercial premises on the periphery of the site, and refurbishing and re-organising the college’s accommodation. A series of linked and re-landscaped courtyard gardens provide access to the college’s accommodation via a new first floor podium. This replaces the existing access from street. A new boiler room has been installed in 67a Bridge Street housing a new central heating system for all the student accommodation on the site.

Other major works include floor upgrades and a new drainage system to suit the new layouts. Cambridge Archaeology Unit has dug a series of investigation pits.
