After successfully tendering the project for Derwent Living, we worked in collaboration with the client to value engineer the scheme and overcome significant problems to ensure the project fell within budget.
We completed a value engineering exercise to accommodate the poor ground conditions following remediation works. We also value engineered the original build philosophy from steel-framed to traditional load-bearing masonry to reduce costs and reduce the original tender figure by 15 per cent.
