Wright Robinson Specialist Sports College
As one of the first operational Building Schools for the Future schemes in the country, Wright Robinson Specialist Sports College was designed to provide the 1,646 pupils with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the standard of education for the next generation.
Morgan Sindall and Hochtief PPP Solutions (UK) carried out detailed design work for the scheme and worked closely with Manchester City Council to develop a pioneering school within budget.
Specialising in sport and arts, the 19,000m² facility includes a 25-metre swimming pool, eight-court double sports hall, fitness suite, dance studios, Sport England natural and synthetic floodlit all-weather pitches and several netball and tennis courts.
