Thomas Becket Secondary School 

Thomas Becket School was previously an upper school with 780 pupils and changed to a 1,150 pupil comprehensive school. The aim was to effectively provide a new school with a number of extensions and substantial refurbishments to the existing buildings. 

 

The new facilities include a teaching block for English and a two-storey pavilion for design technology, IT graphics and food technology. The sports hall doubled in size to accommodate four badminton courts and a new dining hall and catering facilities. Other additions include two music suites and a brand new library.
