Sewell Park College
We won the contract to build three two-storey teaching blocks on a live operational school campus.
The new buildings allowed the school to amalgamate facilities from two separate sites onto one site. This means pupils no longer need to travel across two sites—saving valuable time in the school day.
The project was delivered under the first generation of the Norfolk County Council general building framework.
We provided new facilities including art and craft rooms, science laboratories and a dance and sports hall. We also provided a multi-use games area and a car park.
From day one on site, we appointed a bio-diversity champion to maximise recycling of waste. We even donated some unwanted timber to a local charity as a resource volunteers could use to make furniture.
We coordinated deliveries carefully to avoid disrupting the school.
