Rimrose Hope CE Primary School

We created a large geometric multi-level building which provides 11 multi-purpose classrooms, two specially adapted moderate learning difficulties (MLD) classrooms and a 26-place nursery. The new building also houses shared activity spaces, an assembly hall, kitchens, staff meeting rooms and parish rooms for the local community.

A biomass boiler was incorporated into the works which uses wood chip from a sustainable source as a fuel. This works in conjunction with LPHW radiators which include a Passivent natural ventilation system to the rear, enabling fresh air to be introduced into the classroom and subsequently vented through the ceiling to a stack in the roof space.
