The project commenced with the demolition of existing buildings and an initial phase of structural enhancement work to the listed buildings which later in the construction programme were refurbished and incorporated into the new development.
The new facilities include a research centre, offices, reception facility, business seminar suite, and education promotion facilities. The new building is linked to the existing University through two bridges and sensitive interior works within existing occupied areas.
