AV Hill Building

AV Hill represents part of the £100 million of work awarded to us by the university in the last five years. The AV Hill Building houses 300 neuroscience and immunology scientists from the University of Manchester's Faculty of Life Sciences and Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences.

The six-storey, 9,700m² facility provides offices, write-up areas and laboratories dedicated to high level research, separated by a full height atrium in the centre of the building. It is linked at third floor level to three adjacent University of Manchester buildings: the Core Technology Facility, Michael Smith and Stopford Buildings, which together make up a linked complex of more than 300 research groups.
