
Construction company Morgan Sindall has strengthened its management team in the East Midlands by appointing Nick Seddon as its new operations manager.
Nick, 49, joins Morgan Sindall from Vinci where he was regional director for the East Midlands and Yorkshire and brings 27 years of construction industry experience to his new role. Based at the company’s Nottingham office, Nick will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing clients across the East Midlands and securing more work for Morgan Sindall in its key business sectors including industrial, the commercial, retail, education, healthcare, leisure, defence and transport markets.
Key projects for Morgan Sindall’s Nottingham office include a £9 million scheme to build the Central Area Leisure Centre in Bakewell Road, Matlock, Derbyshire, for Derbyshire Dales District Council and a £2.9 million contract to refurbish the Towers student accommodation complex at Loughborough University.
The company is also carrying out a £10.5 million scheme to refurbish the Percy Gee Students’ Union at the University of Leicester.
