Morgan Sindall team show their support for Isabel Hospice

Staff at construction company Morgan Sindall once again supported Welwyn Garden City-based charity Isabel Hospice, by sponsoring their Sunset & Stars Walk on 5 June.

The team of employees took part in the Sunset and Stars Walk in aid of Isabel Hospice, which provides specialist end of life care for people with life-limiting illnesses in eastern Hertfordshire.
It is the second year running the charity has organised the evening event, which this time incorporated a run as well as a walk.

Hundreds of participants set off on a nine-mile route through towns and villages from St Margaretsbury Sports and Social Club, near Ware.
“We are delighted to do anything we can to support the work of Isabel Hospice,” says Peter Whitmore, Morgan Sindall area director for the Northern Home Counties. “The walk was a great success and we were thrilled to see so many people get behind an event like this, which embraces the hospice’s inspirational spirit.”

The firm has recently completed a multi-million pound scheme to upgrade facilities for Hertford Regional College on two sites - at Ware and Broxbourne.
Organiser and Hospice volunteer Gina Bridgman says: “A huge well done to everyone who took part in Isabel Hospices’ second Sunset & Stars Walk/Run. It was a really great evening and the atmosphere was amazing. I would like to thank everyone who supported us and helped to make the evening such a success.”
