Teams celebrate at BCI Awards 2016

Congratulations to our following projects and teams who were all recognised at last night’s British Construction Industry (BCI) Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

This was the 29th year of the BCI Awards which celebrate and reward excellence in project delivery. All shortlisted projects receive a site visit and attend an interview as part of a rigorous judging process.

Winners:
Lee Tunnel (MVB joint venture): Major Civil Engineering Project of the Year (over £50m)
A1 Leeming to Barton (Carillion Morgan Sindall joint venture): Application of Technology Award
Paddington Station Spans 1-3 Roof Refurbishment: Temporary Works Award (Building)
Supply Chain Sustainability School: Best Practice Initiative Award

Also shortlisted in the awards were:
Manchester Victoria Station Redevelopment: Civil Engineering Project of the Year (£10m to £50m)
A1 Leeming to Barton (Carillion Morgan Sindall joint venture): Temporary Works Award (Civil Engineering)
C512 Whitechapel Main Station Works – Design and Construction of the West Lift Lobby (BBMV joint venture): Temporary Works Award (Civil Engineering)
