Morgan Sindall has won a competitive tender process to be awarded a place on the hub South West Scotland framework as a Tier One contractor.

The tender process began earlier this year and was open to contractors with an operational base in Scotland that could demonstrate the capacity, capability and experience of delivering high-value public sector projects.

The appointment follows Morgan Sindall’s selection for the hub West Scotland framework in 2013. Since then the company has successfully completed a raft of public sector projects in the area including: primary care health facilities, community hubs and primary schools – leaving it ideally placed to win this latest tender.

Michael McBrearty, Chief Executive, hub South West, said: “Key supply chain members are a vital part of hub South West, consistently working with us to deliver innovative, creative, whole life, value for money solutions.

“Morgan Sindall bring with them a great pedigree in delivery experience, and we look forward to working with them as a partnering contractor on future projects, to further develop
a sustainable future within communities across South West Scotland.”

Harry Thorburn, Morgan Sindall’s managing director for Scotland, added: “We have a long and successful track record in the hub South West territory, delivering transformational facilities and sustainable economic benefits for local communities.

“We are delighted to be given an opportunity to build upon this track record as a Tier One Contractor for hub South West and we look forward to working with them and their participants in the future.”
